For this project, the University of Leicester wanted a bold and dynamic soundtrack that elaborated upon the attitude and identity of the previous campaign.
The composition took inspiration from a modern trap soundscape, incorporating 808s, hi-hat rolls, and sharp percussive elements to create a sense of attitude and energy.
The challenge was to align this style with the key visual moments of the advert, ensuring they each made a memorable impression and flowed seamlessly together. By carefully layering the different elements of the track to build and release tension at the key moments, the soundtrack elevated the visuals, giving the advert a striking sense of purpose and momentum.
The advert was broadcast internationally to prospective students.
