Be Unlike-Minded

Leeds Beckett University required a dynamic soundtrack that reflected their ethos of embracing individuality and innovation. The brief called for a bespoke track that coherently evolved through different styles while retaining elements of each throughout.

Starting with a choir ensemble to symbolise tradition and unity, introducing a lively swing band to bring in new energy, and finally layering a bold dubstep beat to add an unexpected contrast with a contemporary edge.
The challenge was to blend these contrasting styles seamlessly, creating a cohesive and engaging soundscape without feeling chaotic.
By carefully layering intricate sound design and thoughtful transitions I delivered a soundtrack that brought the university’s vision to life.

The ad aired across major UK radio stations, showcasing Leeds Beckett’s “unlike-minded” ethos in an unforgettable way.
